Cincinnati Financial Corp has split its stock 10 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on March 18, 1982 with the ratio of 110-for-100, meaning that for 100 shares of CINF owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 110 shares. 9 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on April 04, 2005 on a 21-for-20 basis.
These splits have increased CINF stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that these actions only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Cincinnati Financial Corp's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Cincinnati Financial Corp has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when CINF stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Cincinnati Financial Corp's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
