The first stock split occurred on May 09, 1977 with the ratio of 120-for-100, meaning that for 100 shares of RLI owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 120 shares. 10 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on January 16, 2025 on a 2-for-1 basis.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Rli Corp has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when RLI stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Rli Corp's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
