Teleflex Incorporated has split its stock 10 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on January 15, 1974 with the ratio of 105-for-100, meaning that for 100 shares of TFX owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 105 shares. 9 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on June 17, 1997 on a 2-for-1 basis.
These splits have increased TFX stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that these actions only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Teleflex Incorporated's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Teleflex Incorporated has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when TFX stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Teleflex Incorporated's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
