Ready Capital Corp has split its stock 2 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on November 23, 1992 with the ratio of 1-for-15, meaning that for 15 shares of RRC owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 1 share. The most recent stock split took place on December 05, 2005 on a 3-for-2 basis.
These actions have increased RRC stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that a stock split only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Ready Capital Corp's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Ready Capital Corp has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when RRC stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Ready Capital Corp's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
