Lakeland Financial Corp has split its stock 5 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on May 16, 1996 with the ratio of 2-for-1, meaning that for 1 share of LKFN owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 2 shares. 4 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on August 08, 2016 on a 150-for-100 basis.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Lakeland Financial Corp has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when LKFN stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Lakeland Financial Corp's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
