Today, the stock of Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp fell following the company's announcement that its subsidiary, Liberty Utilities Co. ("Liberty"), has agreed with American Electric Power (NASDAQ: AEP) ("AEP") to terminate the stock purchase agreement for Kentucky Power Company and AEP Kentucky Transmission Company, Inc. (the "Transaction").
