Soligenix Inc has split its stock 6 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on February 27, 1992 with the ratio of 1-for-100, meaning that for 100 shares of SNGX owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 1 share. 5 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on June 06, 2024 on a 1-for-16 basis.
These splits have increased SNGX stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that these actions only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Soligenix Inc's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Soligenix Inc has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when SNGX stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Soligenix Inc's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
