Lam Research Corp has split its stock 3 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on September 16, 1993 with the ratio of 3-for-2, meaning that for 2 shares of LRCX owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 3 shares. 2 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on October 03, 2024 on a 10-for-1 basis.
These splits have increased LRCX stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that these actions only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Lam Research Corp's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Lam Research Corp has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when LRCX stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Lam Research Corp's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
