Geovax Labs Inc has split its stock 6 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on April 28, 2010 with the ratio of 1-for-50, meaning that for 50 shares of GOVX owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 1 share. 5 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on January 12, 2026 on a 1-for-25 basis.
These splits have increased GOVX stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that these actions only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Geovax Labs Inc's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Geovax Labs Inc has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when GOVX stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Geovax Labs Inc's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
