About First Trust Nasdaq Oil & Gas ETF
The investment seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the fund's fees and expenses) of the Nasdaq US Smart Oil & Gas Index.
The fund will normally invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in common stocks that comprise the index. The index is designed to select oil and gas stocks from the NASDAQ US Benchmark Index based on a ranking methodology of three price factors which aims to select companies that exhibit: strong growth through high average 3-, 6-, 9- and 12-month price return; value; and low expected volatility based on historical stock price fluctuation. It is non-diversified.
