China Natural Resources Inc has split its stock 5 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on January 16, 1997 with the ratio of 1-for-10, meaning that for 10 shares of CHNR owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 1 share. 4 more splits have been implemented since then. The most recent stock split took place on June 13, 2025 on a 1-for-8 basis.
These splits have increased CHNR stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that these actions only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on China Natural Resources Inc's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. China Natural Resources Inc has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when CHNR stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by China Natural Resources Inc's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
