HDFC Bank Ltd. ADR (HDB) stock dropped by 9.14% due to negative opinions from analysts regarding the private sector lender's weak financial results for the quarter ended December FY24. • The bank's net interest income increased by 4% sequentially to Rs 28,471 crore during the quarter, with a core net interest margin of 3.4% on total assets and 3.6% based on interest-earning assets.
• HDFC Bank's asset quality improved, with gross non-performing assets decreasing by 8 basis points sequentially to 1.26%, and net NPAs declining by 4 basis points QoQ to 0.31% in Q3FY24.
