Tejon Ranch Co has split its stock 2 times since its initial public offering (IPO). The first stock split occurred on March 11, 1986 with the ratio of 10-for-1, meaning that for 1 share of TRC owned pre-split, shareholders then owned 10 shares. The most recent stock split took place on August 29, 2013 on a 1031-for-1000 basis.
These actions have increased TRC stock's liquidity and made it more appealing to a larger group of investors. However, it's important to remember that a stock split only change the number of shares and the price per share with no impact on Tejon Ranch Co's total market capitalization.

The answer will depend on the decisions of the company's managers and market volatility. Tejon Ranch Co has not made an official announcement regarding whether it will enact a stock split or reverse stock split, but it has a history of doing so when TRC stock prices become too high or too low for retail investors. Therefore, the ultimate decisions will certainly be made by Tejon Ranch Co's board of directors. Typically, no action is taken until its price per share reaches a specific threshold.
